Marika and her allies adventures in a crossover universe!

I am translating the unlicensed and currently untranslated Light Novel series Miniskirt Space Pirates, that went on to spawn the anime Bodacious Space Pirates. If you're here, you likely have seen the anime. This is the original Light Novel.

The fall of an empire and the rise of its bloodthirsty successor. The creation of a federation to encom reason within the galaxy. Once more, war embroils the galaxy. Old feuds are revived and practices long forgotten are ed. After a hundred year peace, war returns in all of its ugliness and after a hundred years of charade, Pirates are true Pirates once more!

A question that came to me while watching Bodacious space pirates, is why is the captain of the Barbaroosa Kenjo Kurihara so helpful towards Marika Kato and the Bentenmaru, in person and in sending his apparently only child to help and train with Marika. Story dynamics aside, here's my take on why.

A pirate's life is hardly uneventful. After the Grand Cross incident and her graduation Marika is immediately thrown into another adventure after meeting a peculiar individual. The crew of the Bentenmaru embark on a grand adventure as they seek a treasure hidden by the Original Seven over 100 years ago.

Routine? Who needs that? We're pirates! Wait, this IS allowed, right? (Rated K for pretend violence, death, and kidnapping)

After becoming a space pirate Marika begins to crack under the pressure of it all, not knowing what to do or what the future will bring she believes that the only way out is by ending it all. Will someone save her in time? Or will despair and anguish finally take her? Rated T just to be safe.

Welcome to the Bodacious Space Pirates two part Christmas special based after Bodacious Space Pirates season 2! Can the allies of fairy tail stop its destruction?

The Bentenmaru carries on it piracy throughout of the red star with the Bentenmaru captain Marika still doing her now part time studies but the arrival of its sister ship the Amaterasu soon causes tension between both captains and even as the Amaterasu captain enroll will the two captain be able to team up and fight an unknown threat. Takes place after Episode 26

Marika has to make a decision, what will she chose, to save the bentenmaru but be missing for 5 years or will the crew of the bentenmaru die!

Gruier Serenity's address to the warring Serenity Defense Forces, as told from her point of view. Illustrates the beginnings of a growing crush on the Bentenmaru's good Captain. One-shot, possibly to be referenced in future fics.
