Pyramid's dream has ended, and Trip's hometown has a new name and purpose. But when things begin to go wrong with terrible calculation, Trip and Monkey realize that freeing Pyramid's enslaved might be more complicated than simply leading them home.

What made Monkey the way that he was? Where did he come from? How did he end up in the Wilds, alone? Why did he share Pyramid's face and voice? These are some of the questions the game left me with, and this is me trying to answer some of them. Rated T for the death of mutated beings.

Pyramid is gone, never to enslave anyone again. But the mechs still walk and weave destruction. Now Trip and Monkey must decide what comes next. And while Monkey still holds running as the safest route, Trip needs more from life.

Not long after finding her village destroyed, Trip deals with the fallout of her emotions as she and Monkey are stopped for the night. Monkey doesn't know what to do but knows that he has to do something. Some obvious but not overt Monkey/Trip. One-Shot.

This is just an extension of the campfire scene, with some added plot elements I think would have added even more interest to the story.

Probably the only fan-fiction I will ever write. I don't even consider myself a writer; I just had to get this out of my system. This game's fascinating unfinished story has often occupied my daydreams ever since playing it. My addition is a shamelessly sentimental piece of crap, but I loved writing every word of it, and hopefully it will entertain a few people.

A brutish wild loner known only known as Monkey has survived on his own all his life until circumstance leads to him becoming bound in body and mind to a young man with a strange name and is taken on a long journey of life, death and rebirth.

Trip and Monkey have pulled the plug on Pyramid and freed the slaves. As they leave, they find a woman in hysterics - a woman Monkey never thought he'd see again. Her name is Core and she just wants to go home. Post-game. Monkey/Trip. Monkey/OC implied.
