Where the endless sand meets the boundless ocean, there is harmony. A tribute to Abzû, and to Journey.

He walked this path again and again. So often that the memories weighed heavily on him, preventing him from taking another step. However, the desert didn't want to let him go.

An experienced red cloak finds themself wanting more than what was left behind on the path to the mountain. So they set their eyes to the endless desert and hope that maybe there's more out there to learn.

Come, let me tell you a story. Of love and sorrow, of hope and loss, of life and death.

This Cross-over is about the Games JOURNEY and ABZÛ encountering each other. (It's not actually about Eternal Eden- I just couldn't find the Category ABZÛ in there. I chose Eternal Eden because ABZÛ is all about under the sea, which is close to an Eternal Eden. Sorry to disappoint you Eternal Eden fans...)

A short story about those travelers who stayed behind to satisfy their curiosity with the ancients.

Inspired by jack2892 "My Journey, Our Journey". One Red and one White, one with sadness and one with kindness. They met during their journey, they became companions, they helped each other whenever they overcame troubles. Soon, something blooms between them that made their relationship more than just a friendship.

My interpretation of the lore of the game 'Journey' in the form of a meaningful short story. I cry every time, you know. ;-;

Poem: The heavens promised to open. But the desert remained gripped by death.

I left the world after everyone else. Like everyone else I would have died, hadn't it been for the star.

Working Title. Two wayfarers become close friends during the Trials of the Mountain, coming to with past haunts and guilt on their way to redemption.

A vast desert. A lone mountain. A long Journey.

I chose to recreate the main aspects of the game to make my own story out of it.

The ancestors are forever doomed to relive and retell the story of their downfall, as a reminder of what they once held and then destroyed, out of pure greed. The travelers, however, see a brighter future. Even if they have to climb the mountain a thousand times, and die each attempt, they live with the hope that one day things will be better.
