Summary: Castle has horrible nightmares of the night he lost his family, & Matt helps him through it every time no matter what time it is.

Foggy proposes to Matt.

Y/N collapses and is rushed to the hospital.

Y/N hasn't been feeling very well these past couple of days, so Matt decides to cook her favorite pasta. And they put a little bet on something that could change their lives forever. Slight warning for VOMIT.

Y/N finds out that Matt has been lying to her for the past four years of their relationship.

Y/n is a piano teacher, and Matt hires her to teach his 6 year old daughter how to play. He falls in love with her slowly but surely.

Matt Murdock has faced many opponents in his life, but none more harsh than his own self doubt. He has felt death and grief and trauma and pain. He has survived it all, because of the people in his life. The people who refused to quit on him, and who believed in him no matter what. He may be a man without fear, but together, they are a family without fear.

"Maybe he made it out," Karen says. "Maybe..." Foggy parrots back. He knows he shouldn't hope, but somehow he can't stop himself.

Claire told Matt he shouldn't put so much distance between himself and the people he's trying to save. She was right. Matt tries to make amends with the people he hurt in season two.

Here are two things that Matt Murdock knows: 1) Nothing will be the same ever again. 2) He thought the hallucinations had stopped years ago.

Matt knows better than to give a name to anything he can't keep, even if it's just a mangy cat who keeps showing up on his fire escape to beg for leftover tuna.

Matt rebuilds his life, one day at a time.

Sarah is a secretary at Orion, a shady company previously owned by Wilson Fisk. When Daredevil begins investigating Orion, Sarah accidentally discovers his true identity, and he's not pleased. Despite her best efforts to avoid him after figuring out who he is, she quickly finds herself on the receiving end of a Daredevil interrogation in a dark alley. Post S1, Slow Burn Matt/OC.

Frank and Matt surviving in Hell's Kitchen and more or less getting along while doing it. Or at least even if the pair of them probably wouldn't agree on the color of the sky more than twice a week (or they wouldn't if Matt had an opinion on the subject, anyway), there was still an unspoken accord that they did for, not to, these days.

'Hey, hey… Matt, stop. Stop. It's okay.' Foggy's words crowd over one another, stumbling into Matt's panic. 'I mean, it's not okay. Definitely not okay. But you need to calm down. Please calm down. Because I don't know where we are or what's happening and I really need your help and I can't do this on my own and I don't know what to do…'

Matthew Michael Murdock has never put much thought into the idea of dying. Sure, he’s given it a glance now and then, and he’s preparing for it, because it happens to everyone, but that doesn’t count as thinking about it. Or, the moral dilemma of vigilantism and Matt Murdock ignoring his inevitable death.
