The Lives and Times of Dodge City: Part III: An Engagement and A Marriage This is the continuation of the Alternate Universe of Gunsmoke. I do not own the rights to the characters of Gunsmoke and do not make any profit from this story. Matt Dillon and Kitty Russell have brought the children home, and everyone is settling down. Hoping for a peaceful life, things always happen.

After much thought, I've decided to put all of my "Ruby Dillon" stories here. Chapters 1-6 are from "Matt and Kitty: A Timeless Love Story." Any other story that relates to Matt and Kitty's life with Ruby will be here. (Chapter 1 (Life) has an extended ending from what was written in "Matt and Kitty: A Timeless Love Story.")

If you need a dose of Matt and Kitty (and who doesn't), I'll be posting short stories here. The stories will be independent of one another. Ideas for the stories may come from scenes from the show, a line spoken by one or both of them, or whatever pops in my head. I don't own the Gunsmoke characters. I hope you enjoy reading these Matt and Kitty stories.

This is my Alternate Universe of Gunsmoke. Several things that are different than the series is that Matt Dillion was once married and has a set of boy/girl twins. The twins live in St. Louis and soon will reside in Dodge City. Also, Sam McTavish is alive and well, sparring with Doc Adams. Dakota Smith is a bounty hunter, whose life will be intertwined with intertwine with them.

There hidden secrets that Kitty has kept from Matt for more than 10 years. She has moved from Dodge to St. Louis to keep the secrets safe... But why does it feel like it's her undoing? and everything is unraveling around her? The story is rated T just to be safe.

The is an ATC to Seven Hours Til Dawn and the aftermath of Doc's lie to Kitty.
