L'histoire se déroule à la fin de la saison 1. Elora a vaincu The Crone. Kit a sauvé son frère. Nos aventuriers doivent désormais quitter The Immemorial City et rentrer chez-eux. Tous sont en proie aux doutes après leur aventure. Tous vont devoir s'unir et trouver de l'aide afin de se préparer au combat qui approche contre The Wyrm.

Cette histoire est une fanfiction, basée sur la queer romance entre Kit et Jade. A 25 ans, Kit perd l'amour de sa vie suite à une longue maladie. Anéantie et perdue, elle décide de tout quitter et part à The Brightly Stars island, une île exotique située dans les Caraïbes, afin de panser ses blessures. Sa rencontre avec Jade, va lui réapprendre à vivre et à aimer la vie.

Looking at him just reminded her of the gentle understanding on Graydon's face when he'd given her his already broken heart, expecting nothing from Elora, just wanting her to know that he loved her. /or/ Post S1 a grieving Elora has an inevitable conversation with Airk.

Elora has borne witness to the worst moment of Graydon's life and still cares about him; she doesn't judge or hate him.
